Dato’ Sri Ganes’s current positions include being the CEO of the SG Education Group, Director of the Penang state government’s STEM initiative and the Director of Academic and Talents, Malaysia loT Association. His awards include the IVETA President’s Award, Most Influential Entrepreneur Award. Bett, UK Asia Awards 2017, Finalist. Since 1999, he has built five technical and vocational colleges, which provide job-specific training and alternative education options, rerouting those who are not set on tertiary education. He prepares and develops students academically and technically, as well as provides solutions from enrolment to employment. Currently he is working to enhance Malaysia’s national workforce with skillsets that future-proof them.
